The Aim of this Wiki is to develop a Class resource on the issue of Cyberbullying for our Oral Presentations next term and also develop our Vocabulary for our response to a newspaper article on Cyberbullying.
In groups you will be given tasks to complete the following:
GROUP 1. Research on the background of Cyberbullying. When did it first start to emerge as an issue? Add 20 words to the Cyberbullying Vocabulary list page 4. Make sure they have been defined. CAITLIN/ GEORGIA / LULE H /JAMIE H
GROUP 2.What are the range of viewpoints and perspectives/concerns that have arisen? JAMES L/ BYRON /LAUREN S/CARLY / JOSHUA/
GROUP 3.Newspaper Articles; Find online resources, a front page article, opinion piece, editorial, a letter to the editor and a cartoon. Write the main contention of each article, 2 persuasive language/devices used? JESS /NATHAN B/ MEMHET/NATHAN C/ CASSIE
GROUP 4. Define each of the Persuasive language techniques on page 5 and fill out the table using examples from our 'Cyber bullying Resources hand-out'
LUKE M/ MATTHEW / STEPHANIE C/ NICOLE S /ADAM V/ AEISHA / - working in pairs divide the table up. Any pair that finds extra devices or adds information regarding persuasive techniques will get bonus marks.
